Default CDI Unit - Placement

I took the bike apart to wash and cannot figure out where exactly the CDI unit mounts on my 2003 GG EC 300. Any help or pics would be great!!!

dont have a picture but it should be placed just behind the fuel tank right at the front of the airbox lying flat straight acrosws the top, if that makes sense?
