Default Supermoto Conversion EC250

I am currently looking to convert my ec 250 to supermoto but also would still like to keep the enduro wheels..... I have read on here and various other forums that CCM super moto wheels which use AJP hubs are a direct crossover..... Is anyone able to confirm this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks, Ryan

I suspect it would depend on the model year of your GG EC250.
My 1998 EC250 uses the AJP hubs. But they will not fit my
2002 EC300. Axle diameter is different. I suppose changing
bearing I.D. and possibly O.D. you could make them fit.
Might have to either machine the pinch clamps on the forks
or use some bushings. Depending on if the new axle is smaller
or larger than the old one.
They also might require new spacers.. I bought a used set of
hubs just like the originals on my bike to eliminate any problems.
Front

rear

whole.

Ignore the "chicken strips" I had only ridden around the block a few times
when I took these pictures...

can anybody confirm if swapping out the stock unduro rims for supermoto ones will work ?
Been told the spoke angle on the hub might not match ?

I am sure someone has. Getting the right axle diameter and bearings might
be a problem. Plus the brake rotor offset and wheel spacers to center
everything could pose a problem. Easier to use the stock hubs and lace
a new rim. A least that is what I did. Cause I am lazy.
I believe all the older Huskys used the same AJP wheel hub. You might try
looking there.
GasGas did change their axle diameter somewhere around 2000-2002.
My 1998 wheels will not fit my 2002. At least not on the front.
Not much help, just encouragement.
Good luck, Jeff

Hi mate im doing this conversion too, Ive got ccm 404 sm wheels, the rear needs a bearing changed to fit as on the chain side our bikes have a larger diameter for the spacer to insert and that will fit perfectly.
the front is a different kettle of fish, it fits on fine but the spacers are a few mm short on both sides, im going to get a friend to make me some up soon ish i will post the results for you. as the brake goes there are adaptor bracket out the which are a direct fit using the OEM caliper, motomaster is the company name.
apart from that there is not to much in it. ktm spacer fitment are the same if your looking for 2 or 4 pot calipers
