Good to know, I still for sure need the wheel spacers though as I modified mine to use a custom ohlins fork and it's not working properly

so i put the sachs 2009 model forks on the 2004 and the axle will not fit the wheel. the sachs 48mm axle measures 24.93 mm and the 04 measures 20mm

Yes, they went from 20 to 25mm front axle in 2005 or perhaps 2006. But the hub is the same, only bearings and spacers changed. So what you need to do is to replace bearings, seals and spacers.
According to the 2015 spares list, the 2015 bearings are 6905 - 25x42x9mm. I use the same wheels on the 2006 and 2015 bikes. I can check the bearing number against the ones I have in my spares bin when I get home.

Quoting myself here... The bearings I have in stock for my own wheels are SKF and FAG 61905, not 6905. I don't know what the difference is, they share the same dimensions - 25x42x9mm.
