Does the needle have any residual effect on full throttle? Or is it 100% MJ?

Yes it does somewhat. The single taper C and D series generally have a wider tip that the triple taper OEM needles, so the main should be compensated by going up one to two sizes, at least to start. I've always ended up this way when re-jetting with a single taper needle.

Thanks. That'll be why Pobit recommended a 180 with a CCL as opposed to 178 that is used normally with a N1EG on the 200. If Pobit happens to read this I dropped the needle a slot because I was getting a bog when giving big throttle at low revs. I think it was a rich bog - how to tell by sound? Seems to accept full throttle at low revs without bogging now.
