Default 50mm shivers?

Need to put new seals in my 50mm shivers and not sure how to get them apart i have done the 45mm shivers before how similar the 50's to 45's. Do i need a special tool to get the top caps off the manual is not that helpful
Also i have been advised to put in 5w oil instead of the 7.5w the manual says will it just make them softer? and how much if it does? thanks alot eddy

Default 50mm zokes

I love the 50mm forks, you should not need anything different than what you needed for the 45s. The 50s are a cartridge fork based on the 50mm showa. If you have trouble Bill from Ccycle has an awsome setup for that fork (860)267-1710. I always ran 5 wt and they were great.

Anyone know what the oil capacity is on each fork (50mm)?

I changed my seals yesterday and added 370cc of oil per the manual.
My forks were very stiff while riding today, I was using only 2/3 of the fork travel.
