ICO mounting w/ Flexx bars/Scotts
Here's my Flexx bar/ICO/Scotts damper mounting set up.
It was as simple as flipping the cross bar. I used the Enduro Engineering computer mount. The ICO is out of the way of the brake hose. Last edited by gasgasman; 05-08-2009 at 10:25 PM. |

Nice Girard. A guy here in town runs those bars and loves them. How do you feel they hold up to a crash, get tweaked eaiser then fatbars? I see you also prefer a "low bar" top mount setup like me, but it looks like you are running the bars back in the rear position.
I just finnished my custom damper mount and "long arm" tower, have to snap a few pics. I have the older ICO ProComp (smaller) and will try to mount it to the right rear of the damper on an "L" shape bracket, tonight's project. |

Glen, The flexbars are awesome. You don't even notice them while riding however they are really working. I recently wsapped back and forth between my bike and really noticed the difference on slap down landings with the front whell and over lots of little trail junk. Mine have held up great and they have been torture tested for sure, if they were to bend the componenets are all available ala-carte.

Glenn, like PEB said, they are awesome.
I have not had a big get off, so can't comment on the strength. They do seem stronger than conventional bars. I like the bars low and back so I can keep my elbows bent and my head right above the # plate. I've had wrist problems ever since I hit another rider head on. With the Flexx bars, I can ride with no issues at all. I have the 12 degree woods bend bars, but would prefer the 10 degree ones. |
