08 450 silencer insert

Hi the silencer insert on the 08 450 is stuck, i left it in from new and after 12months i repacked the muffler, now i am used to the power i was looking at removing it, but its locked in there. The allen head screw is poor quality and i cant get it to turn with out its stripping or just popping out when i turm the allen ket tool, i have tryed an oil based lub to assist but its has not worked, any ideas??

Drill it. Use a bit slightly bigger than the bolt and just the head will be removed after which you can get the bolt out after you pull the insert.
