2011 EC300R
180m
42p
AS 2.25 out. Could go to a 40 pilot but I am lazy and it starts so easy. With the current settings it will load up if idling for very long
N3CH 3rd clip
200-800ft.
75-95* F
50/50 mix of 110 leaded fuel and 93 octane pump gas with Motul 800 at 50:1

I am running a House of Horsepower pipe and silencer and the rest of the bike is untouched. Jetting is near perfect. Nice and crisp right off idle then a nice hard hit then it just revs to the moon and back. Plug looks perfect too

Will not idle(have tried other pj) , runs crisp no bogging I find the plug a lil on the white side gonna go half clip richer, seems lean at mid throttle and is flat on top ....want to try n3ej hard to get parts here....have tried n1eg my bike hates this needle with every possible configuration except slide change

Changed jetting to setting 40/178/n3cj #3/screw 1.5/sea level/15-20deg.
This is perfect voor de mountains and single track.

Bike year & model = EC 300 2011
Temperature (degF) = 60 - 90
Elevation (feet) = 1000
Main jet = 170
Pilot jet = 38
Leak Jet = 85
Needle & notch =NOZI # 2 (or maybe "N0 Z1", as it says in the Partlist for the EC 125)

Results:

Just bought a used EC 300 from 2011 in Germany. Compared to you others I do hava a really strange jetting. It sounds quite lean but actually still is too rich. However I did not think the preowner changed ist, so could it be the std EU setting? Can anyone explain?

Bike year & model = '01 EC 300
Temperature (degF) = 75-100 Fahrenheit
Elevation (feet) = 4,600-12,000 feet
Main jet = 175
Pilot jet = 42
Needle & notch = N3EW middle/3rd notch
Air screw setting = 2 1/2 turns out
Throttle valve/slide = #7

Results: A bit fat off bottom but still very responsive. Very aggressive acceleration. 42 pilot at this elevation seems to be too rich but necessary because of a slightly lean needle. I'm thinking about going to the N3EH which I skipped over to maybe get back to a leaner pilot.

Default Jetting Database - PLEASE ADD YOUR SETTINGS

Bike year & model = 2014 EC300R E-start
Carb: 38mm PWK ASII carb
Engine: Modified head running 1.3mm squish, 1 x .5mm base gasket. CR unknown, slightly higher then stock - approx 12.5:1.
Temperature (degC) = 5-10 degC
50% humidity
Elevation = 1100m.
Main jet = 175
Pilot jet = 42
Leak jet = 85
Needle & notch = N3EJ #2
Air screw setting = 1.4 turns out
Throttle valve/slide = 7 non-notched

Results:

Low idle, slightly rich as it was prone to stalling when idling. Wicking the throttle response was close to perfect.
Was borderline as it came onto the taper, rolling along fire trails and snapping the throttle didn't lift the front as it should and a slight hesitation was felt when pulling through the rev range at approx 1/4 throttle feels like it's falling slightly flat. It also had a habit of running on a bit coming into corners.
I rode here using N3CJ#3 last week, same temps but 95% humidity and the flat spot wasn't there, on that occasion though it felt slightly rich. Humidity makes a big difference....
Made plenty of torque I was torquing round the single today in third and most hills in second with moderate clutch slippage. It never boiled but in the slower tighter stuff it got hot.

Fuel use was 5.8l for 58k's = 10k's per Litre.
95% was single, most of that is tighter techy single with plenty of snotty climbs.

Edit: used this jetting again on a two day ride. Average temps were between 15 - 20deg C with approx humidity of 50%. Elevation was 1000m. The ride consisted of two loops approx 65k's in length, did both loops once each day, so twice each. Both loops were a mix of single and twin trail, majority being 2nd and 3rd gear single.
Jetting is good, nice and smooth with loads of torque right off the bottom, bit of a rich flat spot approx 1/4 throttle then a good strong top end.
The flat spot was more noticeable the warmer the day got, and I confirmed it was a rich condition by pulling the choke on which made it so much more worse. It doesn't bother me too much other then its right in the part of the throttle I use to do wheelies, so most of my wheelies were crap. No real change there. I'm tempted to drop the main one size as there is more over-rev to be had as well I think, that may clean up 1/4 throttle just enough to be nice.

Fuel use for the final loop was 5.8l for 67.5k's = 11.6k's per litre.
Overall fuel use was 22.5l for 260k's = 11.55 k's per litre.

Edit: December 2015 - 25degC, 80% humidity, 300m altitude.
Went for a very tight technical ride. Only 42ks long. Still really happy with the jetting. It was slightly rich off the bottom and prone to stalling when idling along down hills etc but still made good strong power everywhere. Fuel use was bang on 10k per litre. In lower humidity this jetting will be perfect.

Edit: Winter 2016 (between June and August) - Been for a few rides now with this jetting in temps around 15deg C with humidity around the 60-80% mark. All around 300 or so meters above sea level.

This jetting is perfect. Great smooth power and excellent economy. Finally I'm a gasser owner very happy with the jetting.
