Default Eliminating ignition key

The key switch on my 2014 XC300 has started to give me small problems. When I turn the key to the on position, I have to jiggle it a little to hit the sweet spot where it will actually turn on.
I'm considering eliminating the key, and installing a on/off switch in its place. Does anyone know how the key is wired in, and how I need to go about this? There are 4 wires in the key switch harness.

I did the same thing on my 2012, you don't need an on off and can just splice the two wires that are hot when the key is on and it will fire when you kick, or press the starter if you have one. The remaining two wires go to a kill switch.

I need a switch since I'm leaving the running light and tail light functional, but thanks for confirming the arrangement of the kill function.

I'll go dive into it right now, I have a couple switches... hoping I can get one installed looking clean.

Ok, I got her.

I used a 3 spade illuminated switch (just as another reminder to turn it off).
Red, and red/black are switched. I grounded to the mount to make the illuminated switch light up.
I had some aluminum plate laying around that I made a switch mount out of.

It works perfect, and oddly enough when I turn the switch off the bike shuts down. Key power must also be necessary for the engine to run on my 2014.
