Default Crank seals

Hi guys does anyone have any specs for the crank seals on an 04 ec300. Bit hard to get gasser parts local(unless someone in Brisbane can tell me where to go) there is a great bearing shop very close and was thinking I?d be able to get them there if I can find specs or even better the numbers off the seal themselves. Also am I able to remove and replace both seal without splitting cases? What tool would I need to remove actual seal, never done seal replacement whilst motor still in bike?
Thx

It is tricky but it is possible. I have used a couple fine thread self tapping screws in the side of the seal being very careful not to go too deep or scratch the crank. Then use a slide hammer or some other puller to take it out.

It should not be too bad. It is easier to remove the clutch side seal if you pull the primary gear and the inner sleeve first. It also helps if you warm up the cases with a torch or heat gun. Good luck!

Haha don?t think I?ll use a torch, my luck the oil will catch fire. Might have to see if can borrow a heat gun from someone at work. Either way it a next weekend job. Hopefully the seal are off the shelf item.

I am pretty sure you will fins a seal in those sizes but finding them in Viton may be the challenge. You probably know that Viton is necessary for the fuel compatibility.

Never had a problem finding them in viton. eBay!!

Make sure you assemble the deals with a little 2 stroke or rubber friendly grease on the sealing lips otherwise they won't last long at all!!

Are those seals the same for 2012 EC 300? It is not specified in GasGas Parts List.
