first gas gas
Hello all,
I`m looking to buy my first GG. Its a 97 250ec. I`d like to use the bike for some good single track and the harder D/S like the Hammer run. My question is, I`m 6` @ 250 will this bike be real cramped? I stand most the time or when i can. So how many big guys are riding these bike? Are they as big as i YZ250 etc.? I really like the thought of a street legal 2stroke. The bike is about three hours from me and before i waste his time i`d like to get some input (I hate to waste someone time). The more i loook at these bikes the more i like them!

I'm 6'2" at 235lbs and I've had GGs and Kawasakis for many years and they are similar in ergos. I'm not so picky about ergos and I rode ECEA for years. I think they are fine for us taller guys with maybe a bar change or taller seat. I regularly ride a 2005 Yz and the GG (and Kaw for that matter) is much more tall guy friendly. Good luck!

I love my 97' 250 as much as my 07' 300. I'm putting mine through a total rebuild right now. The motor is so smooth, chugs like a tractor down low and flies like jet in the taller gears. The first thing I did change was the front forks. They worked for awhile but are pretty dated. Easy to change out to newer WP's are Zooks.
I'm only 5'9" and 175 lbs. so I cant really comment on the ergos...
