Hi guys iv got an 05 ec300 and its been lagging in the top end of 3rd gear n 4th gear it feels like its choked n not hitting powervalve, i have pulled both powervale casings and the LH side hose was kinked causing a blocked nipple n run off hole have cleared that and checked the jetting wich seems fine, took it for a test ride and its much improved but still doesnt seem 100%, any other suggestions?

The powervalve is mechanical and operates with rpm (governor throws out ball bearings and engages the PV at certain centrifugal forces). Thus, if the PV works well on the stand (can test by removing rhs cover and running the bike with the engine with it off), then it should in theory work in all gears.

So to me, your issue sounds more related to engine load. I'd be looking at either fuel or spark.
