Speedy. There's something funny about all of this that does'nt fit right. If your at 4 thou, and from the picture it looks like you have enough material to get an accurate measurment, your way past the service limit. To get a siezure like that on something that loose doesn't make sense. How many hours would you say is on that piston?

Not many. 10 hours tops. I put the piston in, shipped it to Chile, broke it in, did some testing, then rode from 9:47am to just before 5pm on day 1 when it seized. I'll measure again at the skirt and see what I get for piston/cylinder clearance.
