Props to MotoCenter GasGas for promptly ordering parts and having them to me in about a week, even with me forgetting parts and having them change the order.

I haven't really raced since 2011, and ridden much since the Shane Watts school in 2014 (with my daughter - a riot!), but I am going to try to ride/race a few events this year (FWIW).

I hope Mark Berg's "spare parts announcement" helps me have this bike make it to its 20'th birthday in 2022. Too many many good memories to not keep it running.

Thanks for sharing this with us. It looks great. Props to Neil at MotoCenter for doing this. I may have to try it on my 2011.

Do you have a link for the head light? I would like to eliminate the multi switch on my 2018, but run a head light full time in the on position. This will also let me move the starter button to the other side of the bars.

Here's teh link to the headlight:

https://www.amazon.com/Nilight-3000L.../dp/B01GC60QSG

I have run it on my desktop power supply, and it seems pretty bright. I only ran in for an hour to see if it would fail. It seems OK for the price. It comes with two, so if one craps out, you can replace it pretty quickly.

I have purchased this brand of LED on my snowthrower (mounted the lights on the snowblower) for my kubota tractor, and they've lasted a year. That's not an easy environment.

Thanks.

I sold my faithful 2010 :-(

Sad to se her go, especially since i still remember un-crating it. Never left me stranded in the bush, but situations change and i still have a gasser in the garage, but one without a seat

Are you getting a new enduro bike? Another brand?

not at the moment. I have not really enjoyed the riding here. Back home i could ride from my door in any direction, here to get close to that i need to drive 1.5hrs and then i am following existing trails - it satisfies my need to ride but there is no adventure/exploration to do and that is what i miss. Also because i am not riding as much i need to go to the gym to keep fit and i hate going to the gym. All that combined with new life in a new country just makes it time to take a break (an official one, 12 hours in 18 months is not too different)

The trials scene is pretty good here and i have started with that, i may also get a bike for my kids so they can also join me and possibly through that i may find a friendly farmer who is happy for me to ride and then i can look at getting a bike again.

I also think i might give adventure riding a go, first need to get my license though

It was 34?F and sunny in South Arkansas on Monday.
I took my 2011 EC250, a KX100, a CRF70, and two granddaughters riding on a muddy cross country track that I had created last summer with the tractor and bush hog.
We all got wet and muddy; if not from falling, at least from the roost.
The 9 year old got to roost granddaddy for the first time, just before she went over the bars and landed on her back in very cold 6" deep water.

Later, as the 12 year old granddaughter was leaving the house to go to dance class, I pointed out the mud in her ponytail.
She had just finished her first ride on the "new to the grandkid fleet" KX100 and didn't realize just how bad she had spun mud all over her back and the hair hanging out of the rear of her helmet.

Ride with family as much as possible. There is nothing like it.

Nothing could be truer - the only thing that comes close is riding with good friends. I miss riding with you and Chris and the other club members. Too bad I'm so far away. Do you think there will be any more Wudi rides? Ken

Default Replaced water pump seal and rode

It has been about two years. I have ridden a number of bikes in the last two years. Gas gas still has the smoothest transmission. Buttery smooth.
