Arrow Hand guards

Found these hand guards that actually clamp on to the outer handle bar.
Does not add any width like other hand guards.

Interesting, but you will lose the width of the material in bar straight section from each side. Sometimes that is at a premium. Looks like it is engineered to work with their carbon fiber bars and clamps. Some pricey stuff.

Did you end up buying these? I'm thinking of giving these a try (minus the bars)

I have the G2 hand guards.
Since I have Flexx Bars, these won't work.

Not much more pricey than the Flexx Bars.

I wonder how they would hold up in a good, desert endo?

I sent an e-mail. The response:

Quote:
Hello Rick,

Sorry for the delay, email issues, you know the deal. Our bars are
engineered to be tougher than any bar available. Our bar is designed to
withstand a crash that would typically leave an aluminum / steel bar
permanently bent. To take that a step further, the rider cannot
possibly exert enough force from any act to damage the bars while on the
bike. That"s not to say they are indestructable, nothing is.

Our automation improvements have allowed us to reduce the price on the
handlebars to $249.00. The website products page is being modified and
does not reflect this yet, however the cart pricing is correct. When you
use "click to purchase" you will see the correct pricing in the cart.

Thank you
Doug Cain

It seems like the hot ticket would be carbon fiber wrap around hand guards - light and tough.

I'm waiting on a reply from them on my question regarding steering damper mounting options. Without that, I'd have issues. Perhaps I go with a triple clamp-mounted system.
