Trail Tech - Voyager
Does anybody have the inside scoop on this new unit from Trail Tech?
http://trailtech.net/voyager.html I just bought a dualsport bike and was looking for GPS options and found this.

i have had terrible luck with trailtech units. they are just barely water resistant...... maybe they've improved, but i wouldn't buy another until they say 'water proof' or at least very water resistant...

Would that thing have an rpm meter? It's a very cool piece of technology and i would consider it if it's reasonably priced (-500 €)

Me, too....

Taking it off and trying to dry it out got real old, real fast. I'm also older and maybe a bit less tech saavy or feature needy, but I didn't care for all the crap and buttons- speedo/odo/trip is all I need! I got tired of toggling through this or that to change settings, pressing buttons, etc I don't need the computer to flash when my fork oil should be changed. |

There are GPS tracks on that site I would pay $100 to have taken down.
Stuff like this gets trashed quick when posted on the net! |

Hmmm...
Now there's an idea. Thanks- Gonna try that!
There are some cool items at bike shops that I've found to work well on our bikes; Mirrors, lights (F/R) if your bike doesn't have one and you need one for a ride or event, I especially like the super lightweight tools they have. They weigh 1/3 of reg tools and will do the job trailside..... usually. |

Odo
http://www.kosonorthamerica.com/
I ordered one from these guys today- my experience couldn't be any worse than with TrailTech, so what the heck? Page 4, I think- Basically just a Speedo/Odo which is all I want. XR-S, I think. |
