Default 2001 ohlins fork oil height

I have an 01 xc200. What is the best height for the oil. My son rides the bike, weighs 130. I set it at 120 and seams very stiff in the later part of the stroke. Any recommendations?

Which springs? .42 are stock in the mc's, which would be way to stiff for the lad. >.38 would be a better choice.

The oil level starting point is 6" from the top-tubes collapsed without springs and damper rods bled.
