'06 ignition mapping switch
I dug thru my manual and every on-line resource I could find, but could NOT find a description for which position of the mapping switch was "cloudy" and "sunny". All the visual indicators on my switch have worn away, so I can't tell at all which switch position is what, and my backyard seat-of-the-pants can't detect it either.
Switch position "UP": what is it? Switch position "DOWN": what is it? |

I don't know if they changed the switches over the years. On my 2010 the switch has a bigger side and a smaller side to the switch. The smaller side of the switch is the rain or cloudy setting.

Yes, that's what my '06 switch looks like. So PUSHING the small side "in" activates the cloudy setting?

Disconnect the switch and get a multimeter and check which position that is 'On '. On is sunny.

On my bike yes.
