Just went back and re-read that old post. It has been just over
2 years since we were talking about this. I (assume) this is the BajaDesigns sketch you are talking about. http://www.bajadesigns.com/2005%20We...es/BATREG3.pdf From my post back then. I said I used the top diagram as a guide. And I still believe that to be true. One mistake that I did make was not to use the (blue) wire to charge my battery. I am using a 1.2Ah sealed lead acid battery. The TrailTech web site said to use the blue wire to charge any battery that was rated below 4.5 Ah charge rate. I'll make that change as soon as I get back inside my EC300 one of these days. Jeff |

Yeh Jeff that was the diagram.
The blue wire is just a current limiter that stops the battery charging too quickly and over charging a smaller battery. This Turn tech battery bloke is really good with his service. I am having a few teething probs and he is walking me through the problem solving and has already said that if it proves to be the battery he will send another asap.That to me is worth the extra dollars alone.
