Per the manual:
http://www.gasgasmotos.es/rcs/enduro...EC2007_eng.zip

Throttle valve 7
Idle jet 38
Needle N1EF
Main Jet 170

That doesn't take into account any changes made on dealer setup.

Hmm 170 seems a big change for the 300 from previous years. Mine is 178

A 170 in a 250?? That sounds awfully lean. I wouldn't even start a new (tight) 250 with a 170 main at sea level. Maybe thats the spec for use with the restrictor plate in Europe.

I agree. I only quoted what the manual listed.

I thought the 178 was going to be too lean when I put the LTR kit in my bike, but it wasn't.

mine has a 185, and a 45 slow, put in by th dealer.
Runs well except when cruising with minimum throttle.
I'm wondering if the slow jet is maybe a bit rich.
I do liv at sealevel + 20 m.

My bike did the same thing. I dropped to a 38 pilot and dialed it in from there.

Better yet I put in the LTR jetting kit this year. I have one real ride on my bike and I can say I am very impressed. The only thing I did different is drop the clip one spot because I was nunning in 40ºF-50ºF weather and it seemed a little lean.

My bike seems to have much more grunt and really ran well, especially on connecting roads cruising at minimum throttle. It was real smooth whereas I had a sputtering problem before.

Main 180
Pilot 38
Needle N1EG (on 2nd clip)
Slide #7

is what came in my 07 EC300 in north eastern Australia (think Florida for weather comparison)

I have since changed the main to 178 and the pilot to 42

I put in the 178 shortly after breakin (came in the spare carb parts with the bike). I changed to the next size smaller this past wkend which is a 175, as I new it was still a bit rich, and we went to W. Virginia which has a bit higher elevation than where I ride normally. Bike ran awesome, plus for the first time. it would idle endlessly instead of it dropping to the putt putt boggie idle like it used to after about 15 secs.
