I may be all wrong...but the PWK screw cap is AS1.....at least that is what my carb is stamped. The AS2 has the PWM 2 screws that hold the slide down.....not trying to confusing. But your new bike should have had a AS2, but the model stamp tells a different story.

It definitely has the two screws on top that hold the slide down.

Ben, so what is wrong w/ the body you have now, did you strip one of the screw threads??

Both of mine say PWK. Inside the hex one is stamped 26, the other stamped 5. I don't know if this is a batch number or something different?

If you've simply stripped one of the float bowl screws out, can't you have it tapped out to the next size up? or heli'd?

How did you manage that? and where did the broken part go? tbh I'd put the tools to work and just smooth it out. It'll make some difference, but imo not a world of difference.

More muscle then brains is what happened. The part did not fall into the motor though, not sure where it is now but I had picked it up. Probably in the garage somewhere.

Maybe it would be ok, I just want to ride so I'm thinking of going for it.
