vibration fix.
so, i was racing this weekend, and my bike got all vibey halfway through. and the tone sounded dull and thuddy.
got home and retorqued swingarm and lower motor mount (81nm and 60nm respectively) / they were way loose (swingarm was below 25 ft lbs..). i think i rushed my reassembly and just rattle gunned the swingarm nut last week. maybe had the setting on lowest torque (i usually set it on low unless it needs to be fricking tight.) THINKING IT WAS ENOUGH. definitely not. i definitely torqued the other mounts to spec originally. once one of the mounts gets loose, it takes no time at all for everything else to loosen up. so check your motor mounts first and foremost.

Indeed. I had the same happen on a KTM.
I'm always checking the tightness of the small fasteners, but the big ones are often taken for granted.

I had a similar situation on the '01 basket case I put together and am riding. I swear I tightened all that stuff up but kept getting more and more vibration and rattles. I found the lower motor mount was way loose.
