Default Swinging Arm Bearings

I'm currently doing a rebuild of my bike,it is a 98 version ec250 so when I took off the swinging arm the needle roller bearings just disintergrated into a pile on the garage floor.

2 questions : will the new bearings just go straight into the swinging arm or will I have to press some more bearing shells into the arm?

Does anyone known what the size is of them or know of any aftermarket kits that dont cost gas gas money.

Any help would be really helpful

you need to press the old bearing cages out - you just lost the needles, surely the cages are still there (if not you'll need more than a swingarm bearing kit....)

the best way is to buy the kit, it comes with pins etc. the bearing crosses over, but i doubt you'd find the pins..

i just did my swingarm and linkage. $140ish. the roller bearings are available cheap, but you'll just end up rebuilding more often if you don't replace everything............
