Does the 300's vibrate bad?

there should be almost no vibration. i'm so used to no vibration on my 300 that every other 2t i get on i notice the vibration right away.

You guys must have good ones.. Mine zings through the bars and pegs quite a bit. Always has. You soon enough stop noticing once you're trying to hold on though..

My 2010 300 shakes like a paint mixer. It's the thing I hate most about the bike, because it puts my hands to sleep and really makes racing hard sometimes. Everybody that takes a spin on it, comments on the vibration. Yes, the motor mounts are tight.

I've thought about trying to get the crank balanced by some machine shop. Not sure if this is worth the effort or not. In all fairness, my Husky WR250 vibrates almost as bad.

I used to notice it through the pegs when riding easy/flat stuff. I try to stay away from that type of terrain anymore.

My 300 has a small vibration, but my 97' 250 is smooth as butter dripping off a hot biscuit!!!

But, nothing compared to my old KX250, that thing would make my feet ache.

Yep! On the stand I give it some gass and then as the revs drop theres a noticable vibe that rattles the pipe if the o-rings are worn and is also visble on the plastic side guard over the pipe. Its only really felt in the pegs when cruising at a certain speed. Somewhat like a massage. Other than that you just feel the vibes build a bit with the revs and the power. Not annoying while riding. Mines also a 2010.

I threw a leg over a friends 2011 and his was sooo smoooth.

My '11 300 vibrates a bit when you're sitting still and you rev it up. I don't actually notice it when I'm riding. I think my GG vibrates less than any KTM I've ever thrown a leg over.
