I am not sure. Can you press them out? I know that a friend did his and when he put the new ones in he put the bearing in the freezer and heated up the hub and the went together great.

Why do you have to change them on a 06? I know that they have to have tension on the to move freely.

The spacer just floats between the bearings. It only has a little foam ring on it from the factory to keep it in the approx right spot. You should be able to use a small dowel, or something that won't scratch it up to shove it over a little bit so you can get a punch on the edge of the bearing it to tap it out. Perhaps the bearings are squeezed together a bit too tight, but the spacer will move.

I used a big ass screw driver, pushed the spacer to the side a bit and gave it a good whack with a ball pean hammer. came out slicker'n snot!!

However I never saw any foam ring when the spacer came out?? My drz didn't have one either??
