I'm pretty sure my sons bike has WP forks. I thought they were all marzoochi?

I think the WP's lasted thru 2003, Ohlins forks on the DE/special bikes back then too.

More than likely they are WP but with any older gasgas there is no telling what someone has put on a pic. would be helpfull
