I was reading your posts regarding the bottom fork clamps being even 1mm out will cause stiction. I have two 2003 EC's one is a 250 one is a 300. Both are ohlins and I was swapping one set to the other because my 250 had a better set up. When I did this I found the 250 Ohlins tubes were approx 1mm larger and I had to spread the bottom clamp to fit them to my 300. The ohlins from the 300 slid right onto my 250 with no problems. My 300 is an early 300 model and my 250 is a late 2003 model. Any thoughts?
