2011 ec 300 jetted for mountains
Hi,
It is melting out fast in Southern CO. It looks like riding up to 10,000' should be good to soon. And much higher within the month. I am on a new 2011ec300. Stock jetting was a bit rich at: #6 slide 165 main N1EH @ 2nd clip 38 pilot It was real sluggish off idle, would rev to the moon just fine, but TONS of spoog/smoke Now I'm running same, except blue jd needle (gasser kit) @ 2nd clip; 35 pilot, air screw 1.5- 2.5 turns. It is great to 1/2 throttle, then leans a bit much. Question is: We are riding at 4-7K' now, soon to be 8k' up to 13k'. Anyone been getting one of these set up for the alpine? I know a lot of folks had big snow winters. We had a low snow winter... I've never tried to set up a 2t for the alpine. Thanks Last edited by MonsterTruck; 05-09-2011 at 09:25 PM. |

I have been riding between 4500-6000.
6.5 slide N2ZW #2 or you can run N3EW #2 170 main 42 pj I am going to go down to 38 or 40 pj. Likely a 40. My bike is super crisp, torquey, perfect plug color, revs to the moon, and never spooges. I have have JD red but it is a richer needle than what I have been running and I know it won't work. |

Quote:
4-6000' 50-70' F 40 pilot N3CH 2nd 180 main Runs well but going to a 38 Pilot 178 Main so it will run even "weller". Had a N1EH.. N3CH makes it so much more fun to ride IMO |
