Changes to engine:
In order to reduce weight will be introduced:
New water pump with improved production process for more quality and less weight.
New reed box (VFORCE 4) with integrated stoppers that increase durability of reed petals and increase engine power.
New disc clutch cover, with improved cooling function.
New clutch crankcase. Cover lighter and production process for more quality
Re-design crankcase.
New cylinder head. Less weight and new design.
Re-design crankshaft. Less vibration and more power.
New ignition system. More power and more compact engine design.

Frame changes:
The upside part of the frame it?s equal for every model while the downside changes according the engine. Improving manufacturing process.

With the new geometry, the frame is more flexible therefore easier to ride and with a better performance on the entry and exit of turns.

Reduce almost 1,5 kg just with the frame. Plus reducing engine and some components weight.
New Reiger rear shock.

Now I want one!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isn't there also a new swingarm?

Some of the changes that are rumored appear to be a step in the right direction, BUT it looks like GG is taking a backwards slide in the U.S. if the importer hasn't even ordered any yet. Another year like 2012 with only a handfull of bikes being imported?

It doesn't seem like they take the U.S. market very seriously if they won't even provide prices to the importer in a reasonable time. 2014 KTM's are already on the showroom floor.

Take a deep breath.... My local KTM Dealer has '14 SX's on the floor, but told me they haven't done their Off Road bike order yet.

I'm not worked up over it, just calling it how I see it. I think the difference between KTM's offroad bikes and the GG is that the KTM's will be here soon, but the GG order hasn't even been placed yet by the importer not the dealer.

It'll probably be another year or so before I buy another bike, so it doesn't matter much to me when they get here. It was just an observation.

All drama withstanding, a gasgas that is nine pounds lighter with more power sounds like a ktm killer to me.

What's half a stone? Is that like a real small rock. I get those in my boots occasionally. Can't ride that way have to stop and take them out.
