barrel replating
Hi I've not had this done since I've owned the bike and i think its still on its original bore plate from factory if i can remember correctly. bikes still flying but its got to be time for a freshen up soon( can't work out how its lasted so long).
I've been looking on the net but am not sure who is the best to go to in the uk for re plating, I've been told langscourt for my cr5 but that was a rebore. can anyone recommend some where please grant

Langcourt in the US served me well, and as they are a UK company I can't see you going wrong with them. However, since you are near the cradle of F1 technology, can't you source some exotic material supplier with some ultra-slick, low-friction something-or-other that builds better power and adds lightness?

Here is the US version in Alabama.
I used them several years ago to re-plate my KDX220R. I would use them again. http://www.langcourt.com/page5.html This is the International link... http://www.langcourt.com/page2.html |
