Zoke 48's?

Just wondering if anyone has tried them and what they thought of them?
I am looking at buying a 12 and we are getting the ohlins rear(888 I think) , with 48 zokes .

Should have done a search first I guess as there is already a thread on this.
After reading the thread I am assuming they are very firm but do not transfer hits to the hands.
Any one want to enlighten me any further?
Do they have a lot of static sag or sit high in the stroke, what clicker settings are people running and what terrain are they riding?

I spoke to Les after he finished revalving a set. Well made fork, good coatings. Seals are a bit sticky with high drag. No exotic tools needed to service. Similar (but not a copy) to a KYB but with the adjustable preload chamber spring. Overall a positive review.

Think the new slick SKF seals and bushings that are used on the 2012 Katooms are available for this new fork?

He already had seals that fit and swapped them to make it slick. All was good in the end.

yea , i have them on my 2011 EC300 Racing (888 rear)
takes them about 800-1000km to break in and lose the stiff feel (even before broken in they are not harsh on the hands just stiffer and cause a little armpump) once broke in they are plush but informative on whats going on with the front tire.

they are good and very predictable on the harsh stuff (lose rocks, sharp edges in all speeds)
i really love them, i had a set of YZ450F KYB forks on my Yamaha WR450F that i sent to factory connection for revalve and the zooks are equal if not better on the sharp ugly stuff, the KYBs beein motocross forks where better in the big jumps as they never bottomed out , the zooks do bottom on big drops (i am 200 pounds w/o gear and stock springs in front).

i did ride the nambotin replica and must say the front there is something else, the bike seats higher in the stroke and it feels even plusher and better then the stok zooks.

btw Ivan Cervantes says the 2012 will corner even better and still be a stable bike in high speeds.

dont know as its my 1st GG , been on 4 strokes the last 5 years.

can tell you that i loved the front on the nambotin, the rear TTX didn't feel great and bottom out on fast bumps, but it was on a stock 5.2 spring which is too soft for my weight, i am on 5.8s on my bike.

think next year i will be tempted to go with the new 300 2012 Seb GUILLAUME??
