I am just curious, how and why have you broke-bent 3 brake pedels? Is it a design flaw, or operater error?? As the proud new owner of a 12 Gasser the design of the pedal looks superior to the pre 12 design. Let me know. This is not a comman problem with the new Gasers is it?

The first was caught on a rock in the bikes first ever special test in it's first race! ha ha. I kicked it somewhat straight & finished the day with care.
The second I broke on a rock while going through a deep rut over a bank with a turn in it, so I may have given the rock a better chance of snapping the pedal. I didn't even know i'd broken it until I looked for it going into the next corner. To be fair, I'm not very good on a bike, hee hee. The lever does look tidier & quite strong, but I believe it's the 90deg bend & kind of thin pedal end that makes it a bit easily damaged. I may be completely at fault here. Anyway, hope that explains all.

Robs.

Yea, that is why I was asking. I once had a freind who bought a new Husky and within 2 hours of riding he smashed his pipe, ripped his seat cover and bent his brake lever!! I said dam jimmy you C riders are funny! And if you go faster less will happen!

Hah, go faster. I'm afraid I'm not going to get much faster. but a bit more practice wouldn't go astray!
