stator lighting voltage
Hello all
I have just recently purchased a gasgas ec250 r 2012 ... All was fine in till a couple of days ago then my lights rear front, horn, brake light all packed in but bike runs fine. I've tested voltage straight from stator and at lights and it's reading 4.2 volts tickover but does increase when revved it will light a bulb up if I put it straight to yellow, white Wire straight from stator plate but no were else Just wondering any body else had this Thank you |

There are two separate circuits to the stator, the source coil which runs the bike and the lighting coil that, well, runs the lights! So, your problem is either the lighting coil failed, you have a bad switch, or a bad connection somewhere.

From the workshop manual, check these values for your stator. Test with the stator white and yellow disconnected.
