Default Top shock bush crossover?

Anyone know if the top shock bush (spherical bearing/heim joint/rose joint) on the top of the Sachs shock crosses over to a more common brand bike?

Anyone??

The guy I asked to get one from the bearing shop seems to have lost the slightly worn one (bearing shop could not source one either) and gas gas doesn't have any in stock

Since the movement is in one plane I don't really understand why they use a spherical bearing. Could I replace it with a standard ball bearing that is the same width?

Have any pictures? I am going to take my own shock (sachs) out for either replacing or service it, but I thought it had much side to side play.

Take some pictures, ill take mine out and measure the bushings so that you can machine one out.

Thanks. The Sachs one had no numbers on it at all so suspected it would not be readily available

For the top of the shock?

I have been considering using a normal ball bearing to replace the spherical bearing as I believe the GG engineers decision to use a spherical bearing is more from longevity than a need to rotate in multiple planes. I will see what I can find and use while I wait for GG to get new stock

Is the search broken?

2013 EC250 Sachs shock top and bottom bearing number is GE12PW for future reference.

2010 uses a spherical bearing on the top that is only available through gasgas (here anyway - tried numerous bearing suppliers).
I just greased up the old one and put it back for now

(This bearing in the image is not the correct size!!)

Pictures not working but the link I sent is a spherical bearing which includes the part number and dimensions to compared against your bike.
