Default LTR PV cover full of fluid?

Previous owner had zip-tied the PV drain hose. Would this cause the
fluid build up in the cover or was it ?

Was this the likely cause of flat power?

Compression still to be checked.

Can't help.

Make sure you clean it up well and remove the nipple and clean it out well (tubing too).

Dealer is supposed to clip that off. They zip tie them so they don't leak in transit. It should drip spooge on your garage or trailer floor once in a while if it's open.

We missed it on our first bike set up when we were selling them. Thankfully the bike didn't go too far and I clipped it for the owner at the next race...

It will affect your power. Doesn't take much. Ditto on the clean it out real good. Gunk builds up in it and can keep the PV from operating properly. Could be your PV is goobered up and won't function.

Also, I'd check the jetting against the database on the site too. A lot of the used gassers I've seen have really wonky carb set ups. Usually blubbery rich or scary lean, very seldom just right.

Jetting:
Altitude 3,000' to 5,000'
P 40, need to get 42, 45
M 175, from a 180
N LTR center clip

Good news, the PV is working. How she go all drained and cleaned, we shall see.
