the biggest set mm sockets you can find

the biggest set of mm allen wrenches you can find
full set of torx (star) sockets you can find
screw driver set
hammer (if the bike is used)
pry bar

BIG jug of corn whiskey home made preferably but that may be hard to find in Perris
That pretty much sums it up!!

I never new how much I would use them before I bought a metric T-handle allen set, I just love those things! Full set was $45 from Snap-On. Their allen wrenches are about the same cost for a full set either metric or standard and come in a nifty steel organizer. I have found the allen wrenches need to be the highest quality of all the tools you will use. Go to Harbor Freight for the rest but don't scrimp on the allens!

If you go snap on you can get away with a really good 1/4" drive set in metric that you can carry some stuff on the bike.. I carry, a 8/10 12/14 and a 13/15 comb wrenchs from a kawi tool set, and a 8, 10, 13 3 way t-bar that came with the bike,, then a allen and torq driver set and a 1/4 size ratchet that takes the drivers, has a 1/4" drive insert also and also screwdriver inserts.. As far as multiple sizes,, compaired to the other modern bikes it uses too many..(but I worked on older bikes that had more sizes,, and cars,, we wont even go there) I also replace with mostly the same size,, either a 8 or 10mm headed bolt from my ktm stuff or my john deere stuff.. Sure GG you carry more tools,, but you dont use them as often..

heck with harbor freight u will just spend your money replacing tools and parts. check out northerntoolcom. their tools have been superb and are a relatively good price.

im curious, has anyone ever thought to carry a scrench? yes, that is spelled correctly, a scrench. its a tool that comes with chainsaws and basically consists of 2 sockets and a flathead screwdriver. the idea being that you can use if for the spark plug and screws. i just got the idea and wondered if anybody had tried it. make two tools into one?

Might work if there were actually any phillips or slotted screws on a GG It would end up just being a "wrench"!!

mines had some of the plastics bolts replaced with flathead screws. and the sparkplug would have to match the scrench. it was just an idea. i get lots of ideas like that. usually im just overthinking things. but it might be handy, not to mention that the scrench doesnt weigh anything.

You need a riders wrench front & rear axle and spark plug in one and it is flat just 3/16" thick.
