No. Too much stress on the clevis.
But, you can buy just the clevis.

are they hard to change? or do i need to strip the whole thing down? roughly how much is a clevis?

Perhaps you can take it off and take it to your local engineering shop and get them to knock one up for you, You can choose what they make it out of if you want it stronger too. Prob be cheap for a oem one anyway.

It threads on to the shock shaft. I don't know if you need to release the NO2 charge or not.
I had to buy on many moons ago and don't remember the price.

You can replace it without pulling the whole shock shaft. I have one here that I bought a while back which haven't replaced yet. It was approx $60usd from memory for the new clevis. The clevis threads into the shaft. You will need a shock shaft holder and will need to apply heat to break the locktite without too much to melt the rebound adjuster knob.

I Had the same problem with my shock, last year. I just made up a new clevis in stainless steel, and It still works

ive put loads of heat into it & it wont come undone.
