I'm running one in my 2011 300 EStart. It works great, I 'll look for the part number number when I get home. It spins the starter a lot faster and I haven't had any problems. Just don't leave your key on. I heard from the reps that if you totally discharge it, the battery is toast. I've had mine for about 18 months, I haven't had any problems and I've never had to use a tender/charger. Its also very light.

Because of the adhesive pads installed on my battery, I could not get to the part number. I believe it is LFX14L2-BS12.

LFX14L2-BS12 is the battery I used in my bike. My dealer explained the codes to me and basically the only variable is the position of the positive and negative terminals and the amp/hr. That code is the right size and terminal orientation. The only option is the amp/hr. LFX "14" is the amp/hr. I paid extra for the larger capacity. Same size battery just more capacity. The problem is Shorai doesn't have a battery specifically listed for GG. The KTM 300 XCW is listed as a 14ah battery. It does fit really well with the addition of a few foam pieces and its starts like right now.

I have the 2013 XC 300 e

This is what I have been using in my 13 300. Works well and is significantly lighter. I did take a dremel to the battery holder to cut a space to access the charging port on the Shorai. As of yet, I have not had to use it.

LFX14L2-BS12 is the correct battery. Works great and saves alot of weight. You really notice it alot when you pull the seat off of a 13 model with the stock battery and then pull one off with the shorai.
