2011 cervantes 250

Thought I would post up on my bike . I have been riding this 2011 gasgas cervantes since new . As you may know the special edition bikes are released late in the year .
Well that's 3 years in the saddle, 3 seasons of hare scramble racing,( 2nd 2012- 1st 2013 and 1st 2014 in the super senior class of the VIHSS series.
So I just finished going through and freshening up my bike , and reflecting on how great it has been. Probably over 200 hours , on its 3rd set of front pads , 3rd rear , 2nd chain and sprockets( 12 tooth counter) .org bearings everywhere( although they all get cleaned and greased.just replaced the original top end and that was only because I felt guilty.
Had the ohlins and 48 zokes gone through and it did transform the front as many here have noted . As usual too it needed to be jetted when new , well worth the day of trial and error getting it to run perfect at idle - mid and top .
It should be worth noting that this bike has never overheated, never broke down and started within a handful of kicks at its worst.

Great to get a review on models after they have racked up some hours,especially race hours.A few more would be good.

Well said Kaos, my 2011 Nambotin was purchased new in 2012 and currently has 173.0 hours.

Still original top end. Love the bike!
