difference between ec250 and ec250 race?
i keep hearing about the race version. i tried doing a search and only found a reference to stiffer suspension.
whats the diff between the two bikes? thanks.

Off the top of my head the 2010s race versions have: Galfer wave rotors. different rear Nissin brake caliper (uses smaller pads actually but has a better feel) , Ohlins rear shock in place of Sachs, adjustable sag Sachs forks, stiffer suspension valving front and rear, FMF muffler (all GasGas US models should have the FMF muffler anyway.)
They should also come with a 49 tooth rear sprocket instead of the normally stock 48. The ignitions found on the race versions vary by importer but normally would be the heavier EC ignition unless specified differently. Of course the graphics and plastics are different.

cool thanks. are the race versions only out in 2010 or were there earlier versions too? like 06?
