Default Replacement forks for a 2015 EC300 - need some advice

So I have an ec300 with damaged forks. As they are Marzocchi I cant get spares. I've taken the forks to K Tech a suspension specialist in the UK and they cant even separate the forks. Basically the cartridge adjuster thread is damaged to the extent is wont screw into the top of the forks. Dont know how this happened but just noticed it before taking it for a test ride, may have sheared when my son was out on it last time and he didnt notice.
Anyway, unless I can find a 2nd hand set (and I've been looking for a while), I will need to replace them.
Q1 - does anyone know of a set for sale
Q2 - does anyone know if they were used on another bike could I convert a set from something else (I heard somewhere Beta bought some Marzocchi stock).

Maybe a good time to consider a Kayaba SSS or Showa swap?

That was my question really, what else will fit and how much modification is needed. I've already tried a set of 2014 forks off a standard i.e non racing version and whilst they fit in the top yokes they are slightly too small for the bottom yokes.

Hi Bill,

There are lots of post in this section on fork swaps. Here is my Showa swap.

You could even shim the bottom clamps to suit the newer forks you have tried.

Thanks guys, the adjusted is not stuck, it has sheared, it looks like it was threaded at the bottom and the thread has sheared.

I'll give Steve Plain a call.

I'll also have a look at the Showa link thanks.

Shimming is a good idea thanks, I dont have those forks they were borrowed off a friend to try, but it does mean I can look for those 2nd hand as well.

What has sheared? From what I know that part is held in with just a circlip and is not threaded. You should still be able to disassemble the fork and the cartridge and fix it.

I have a used inner cartridge that I purchased for the bushing. I do not need it anymore. Do you want it? It is from a race model or something (it is anodized red) so it would be slightly different than the other fork. I’m not sure what the differences are between race and standard cartridges.
