Finally I have made it on to a gasgas. I have wanted one for years. I am coming off a KTM 300 but I have a feeling I won't ever be going back.

I now have a 2006 MC/EC 250

I do need some fatboy springs though front and rear if anyone has some.

I weigh 245lbs probably 265 with gear. So I think for the rear I would need 9.3 or so and a .57 or .58 for the front I am not really sure. I am also not sure if the impellor has been changed. Is this and the LTR powervalve essential.

Your bike may already have an alloy impeller in it. There has been some variation in that regard. I never changed mine.

I don't have the powervalve cover either and my bike still pulls real well down low. Probably better with the cover, but I feel I get good pull as it is.

My opinion is that you don't need to right run out and get either. It would be a good idea to take a look at the impeller the next time you tern it down. The powervalve cover you can pick up for Christmas (great gift idea) on the next time you see one on here or eBay.

Thanks Eff, maybe I will do it the opposite. There is a power valve cover here I'm gonna pick up, then I will wait till winter to check the Impeller and ask for it for Christmas.

Maybe I should check LTR or some of the other suspension shops to see if they have any used springs on the shelf.

At 265 I can probably check with the local Mack truck dealer and ask for springs.
