'02 250ec...
Hey all,
I'm considering a 2002 250EC and wondering if anyone has any feedback on this moto. How's the parts availability and reliability of the moto/gearbox? Primary riding would be woods with some small street sections connecting. I'm 6'3" 185lbs intermediate rider. Thanks for your time |

The 250 is a great engine. Personally, I prefer it over the 300. The 250 and 300 share the same bottom end. Parts are easy to come by for the engine.
I have a 250 and just did a complete rebuild of a friend's 250. I had no problems getting parts through the dealer network. |

I have a '99 EC 250 that is essentially the same. Parts are easy to get. Just did a top end on mine. I am in love with the bike. This thing has made me a better rider. When I approach something I'd never try before I just point and grab some throttle and somehow it makes it.

Hey'all,
Thanks for the feedback. Anyone have any suggestions on price for a decently maintained '02 250EC? |

Depends on where you are, condition, hours, etc, but they seem to be $2000-$2500.

'02 could be as low as $1500. Depending on condition.
