Washer
I see what you guys mean that the sprocket is thicker after I made some research.
However I went to see the parts manual for the Gasgas ec 125 but for the 2013 version. That one also uses a circlip but that one has a washer/spacer between the circlip and the front sprocket. I think we are getting a bit out of topic. My wonder was if I could have a washer/spacer there to fill the gap and make the front sprocket go straight and not move at all, and by looking at the 2013 manual I guess we can say that it would work perfectly fine. How much do you guys think I should fill? Should I leave some play for the front sprocket or should I just make it very snug? |

from memory it is not snug, it just rattles a little, probably measure it all up so that thesprocket face lines up with the circlip as a start.

I agree they are not tight even when they are correct.
