no headlight 06 EC 300

Just put done sorting out my new to me 06 EC300.
It came with a Acerbis headlight in a box.I hooked it up and have nothing. It has the halogen 2 prong style lights in it, brand new.
I seem to have a light purple wire and a green and yellow wire that run to the headlight. What should I be reading on a multi meter on those wires when the bike is running? not running?
AC ?
I am not using a a switch in line. YET...

Green/yellow is your ground. Purple would then be 12 volts AC (set your meter to AC). If you don't get a reading with the bike running, you'll have trace back along the wires to find the problem.
