Default Should off-road vehicles be banned from Blue Mountain?

The type of ignorant question the media uses to capitalize on contentious issues.

Vote FOR or AGAINST me riding my GasGas on my hill (Poll in top right of page):

Take a second to read about what's going on in our unregulated environment, and the tough struggle between user groups who don't have any public support due to lack of awareness. To be taken with a grain of salt as the reporter has never even seen the forest, doesn't plan on ever riding a dirtbike and hashes together an article from phone interviews to whomever took the time to talk to her.

I voted! Ha, how dare you want to ride one of those dirty things.

This is the kind of thing that killed our race some years ago. The word was spread that our club was applying for a permit to hold an off road motorcycle race (an ISDE qualifier). We got shut down because we might introduce silt into the creeks, and eventually a nearby river (10 miles away) and would kill Salmon!

That's where my screen name comes from. It was a joke.... Dirt bikes kill salmon. We're all out there roosting fish.......

HA, THAT'S FUNNY!!!! I'm trying to think of a spotted owl referance right now

I voted. 91% in favor of allowing orv's at the moment.
It's kind of like our "lead kills children so lets ban minibikes" law. Have you seen what cattle released on leased BLM (read public) land can do? My dad used to lease land for cattle grazing, $125 for 10 years, 180 acres. 8 head of cattle made more impact than me and all my riding buddies could ever think of when we were in high school. Creek crossings? Not even close, cattle destroyed riparien (SP?) zones. And don't get me started on horses (well their riders anyhow).

I'm leaning towards "spotted soufflé"
