Blue smoke
Hi,
I'm getting blue smoke from my 2006 FSE. It happens when hot, nothing when cold. If I let it idle for a while and blip the throttle there's a big puff of smoke. If I rev it up and down there's a small amount of smoke both revving up and down. If however I just hold the revs high there's no smoke or at least not enough to see. Is this piston/rings or valve guides/seals? I'm thinking a new piston and rings? I should add there is no oil pool sat in the airbox, checked that. Last edited by iancp5; 05-17-2010 at 11:39 PM.
