Default IMS tank On A 06 EC300?

Hi all , i talked to IMS on the phone today and they said they had not heard of their older 04 models fitting on a 06 EC300. I have read around here about them fitting very well. Could someone or many someones please confirm this for me ?
For the record my bike is a Canadian Model (or is that a Euro spec? ) and it is a EC not a DE. I know Clarke makes a tank as well but have read about fitting issues with the seat and the front mounting bolt and this is why im leaning toward a IMS. Please any help with issues or recomendations will be appreciated.

Aflica,

I've got your exact bike and I used an IMS oversized tank with no (significant) problem. The change I needed to make was to add material under the seat so that it contacted the frame rails/tank. Basically, the tank raises the front of the seat, and I wanted to ditribute the load and not break the seat pan. Not big deal.

And it does add great range!

Yep, it looked like it wouldn't work at all when I first put mine on. A couple mins with a heat gun at the front piece of the seat that fits over the end of the tank, a good shove, and it fit. First couple times you take the seat off you may need another good shove from the back of the seat or another brief shot of heatgun but it forms to the tank eventually. Mines 2.5yrs old now.
No need to cut the any material from the seat base as some have done.
