IMS tank On A 06 EC300?
Hi all , i talked to IMS on the phone today and they said they had not heard of their older 04 models fitting on a 06 EC300. I have read around here about them fitting very well. Could someone or many someones please confirm this for me ?
For the record my bike is a Canadian Model (or is that a Euro spec? ) and it is a EC not a DE. I know Clarke makes a tank as well but have read about fitting issues with the seat and the front mounting bolt and this is why im leaning toward a IMS. Please any help with issues or recomendations will be appreciated.

Aflica,
I've got your exact bike and I used an IMS oversized tank with no (significant) problem. The change I needed to make was to add material under the seat so that it contacted the frame rails/tank. Basically, the tank raises the front of the seat, and I wanted to ditribute the load and not break the seat pan. Not big deal. And it does add great range! Dale |

No need to cut the any material from the seat base as some have done. |
