It applies. And from the factory it does.

Tie wire your throttle cable too.

Thanks for all the replies and heads up. Also just want to give a shout out to Halls Cycles. One of the best buying experiences I have had. Very easy and flexible, especially from 900 miles away!!

Yes I live about 1-2 miles from pine barrens. We have a group that rides right out of my house. Your welcome to join. PM me your information.

This bike is SOO F'N pretty. People have said that the engineering and build is quirky and not as finished as other brands. Just from 2 nights of working on the bike, I'd like to say the opposite. I can't speak to the older models. On the new models, the visual build quality looks far superior to my 310 Husky and YZ250. The way things are put together is very concise and purpose built. I love the axle pulls. Also the parts fit very nicely together (better than my Husky). The bike is tight and feels light (no e-start).

I've owned a 2010 model, and a 2013 model. Both kick only, race spec. Both been quite modified in both terms of suspension and engine setup. Both clocked up solid hours. Close to 300hrs on the 2010, and stacking them onto the 2013 (75hrs now).

I would say both have required very little other than normal maintenance. The fit and finish has shown some big gains in the last couple years. I need almost every tool to work on the 2010, the 2013 has been refined to require less. In some areas things are esier to work on, others not.

Had no issues with parts availability (other than with exotic suspension components).

Look forward to hearing your ride report.
