No, without modification. Look for the post by hasslebri his 152. Has a Yamaha piston modified connecting rod. All custom built.

Default big bore kit to 125cc gasgas

I have a 144cc
I am Running a custom made cylinder, power valve, head, CDI and crank shaft. The piston is a 58mm yz Yamaha and the connecting rod is a reinforced from wiseco. By the way I have KTM crank shaft bearing, which are much bigger and I had to machine the housing. All in all, it is not just a plug and play solution.

okok, sounds like a lot of work why did you need the ktm bearings? is it because they are stronger? do you need to change the cdi box?

best regards

You do not need all this, but it makes sense to get the max output of the engine. With the KTM bearings you can run a very high compression because they are much stronger and the CDI is just because I have it ;-)

okok, thanks for your time. yes ktm bearings should last longer. some more questions

was it possible to use the gasgas exhaust valve parts? or did you use parts from yamha? and what about the reed valve?

was it possible to fit the yamaha cylinder on the gasgas housing without machining?

was it possible to use the gasgas original connectin rod or did you have to change to the wiseco?

best regards
